Reelia ("Reelia", "we", "us") is a tool that helps you schedule and automatically post video/image content to Instagram accounts you connect. This policy explains what data Reelia collects, why, and how you can remove it.
Reelia is operated by AURAX L.L.C-FZ, a limited liability company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai (licence no. 2425746), with its registered office at Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We do not collect payment card details: paid plans are billed through Stripe, which handles your card under its own privacy policy. We keep your plan, invoices and payment status.
If you only visit our website, your IP address and browser data reach Cloudflare, which serves and protects the site, and are kept in its security logs for a short time. We do not use analytics or tracking on the website.
Our public website uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the pages: which parts people click, how far they scroll, and where they leave. Clarity records a replay of the page visit and aggregates those visits into heat maps. It sets cookies in your browser so a returning visit can be recognised.
Clarity masks text content and form inputs by default, so what you type is not captured. We use it to improve the website, not to identify you, and we do not join it to your Reelia account. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement; session replays are kept for up to 30 days and aggregated heat maps for up to 9 months.
This applies to the public website only. The app itself -- your library, queues, calendar and posting history -- is not recorded. If you would rather not be included, blocking cookies for this site in your browser is enough, and Clarity honours the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends one.
Data is used only to operate Reelia: authenticating you, publishing your content to the Instagram account(s) you've explicitly connected, showing you your own library/queue/history, and keeping your posting schedule running. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content or Instagram data to train any AI model.
Legal basis (GDPR): we process this data to perform our contract with you (providing the service you signed up for), and for our legitimate interest in keeping Reelia secure and preventing abuse.
Your data is visible only to your own Reelia account. We use the following subprocessors to run the service: Cloudflare (R2 object storage for your media files), Render (application hosting and the PostgreSQL database) and Microsoft (Clarity website analytics, as described above). Your content is also, necessarily, sent to Instagram/Meta's own API in order to publish it — that transfer is subject to Meta's own privacy terms once your content reaches their platform.
International transfers: AURAX L.L.C-FZ is based in the United Arab Emirates and our subprocessors may store data outside the EU/EEA (including in the United States). Where personal data of EU/EEA/UK users is transferred, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses offered by those providers.
Disconnecting an Instagram account inside Reelia is reversible: it stops Reelia from posting to that account, but your library, settings, and posting history for it are kept so that reconnecting the same Instagram account restores everything exactly as it was. Data is only permanently erased if you request account deletion (see below) or if you reconnect and then explicitly ask us to erase a disconnected account's data.
You can request a full, permanent deletion of your Reelia account and all associated data (Instagram connection info, uploaded content, library, settings, queue, and post history) at any time. See our Data Deletion Instructions for how. If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you also have rights under GDPR (access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) — contact us at contact@reelia.co to exercise any of these. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Reelia only uses storage that is strictly necessary or that you ask for (your session, protection against forged requests, your language choice, and Cloudflare's security cookies). There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Details in our Cookie Policy.
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will change and, where required, we'll notify account holders by email.
